Seabrooke re-signs with Winnipeg
Left-handed pitcher Travis Seabrooke is returning to Winnipeg for his fourth season with the Goldeyes in 2024.

The former Terrier re-signed with the team earlier this month.

Seabrooke was used primarily as a starter last season, posting a 6-6 record and a 6.30 ERA over 85.1 innings after spending all of 2021 and 2022 coming out of the bullpen.

As a reliever, the southpaw appeared in 104 games and threw 98.2 innings.

“Travis is someone I knew right away we wanted to bring back,” Goldeyes manager Logan Watkins said in a release on the team's website.

"Not only is he a well-respected pitcher within the organization but across the American Association as well. He'll be a big asset to us this season and I know he’s motivated to have a strong year.”

Originally drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the fifth round of the 2013 draft, the 2024 season will be his 10th spent in professional baseball.

Through all levels, which includes reaching High-A Frederick in the Orioles system, Seabrooke has compiled a 26-34 record to go along with a 5.07 ERA in 520 innings.

The Goldeyes begin the season on a 10-game road trip against the Cleburne Railroaders and the Kansas City Monarchs from May 9 to 19.

Their home opener is slated for May 21 against the Chicago Dogs.
