Watertown, NY - The Terriers picked up where they left off after winning the Brawl in the Fall tournament last weekend, with a sweep of Jefferson Community College Saturday. Simon Clarke had the big blow in game one, a towering two run homer over the left field wall. The Terriers would pound out ten hits in all. Right hander Roberto Suppa got the win in the 11-5 victory. Leadoff hitter Christian Fearon started the game off by getting hit by a pitch.

He advanced to third on a Cole Peragine single and then scored on a shot by Brandon Dailey. The Terriers tacked on three more runs with a hit from Simon Clarke, a walk by Jordan Mountford and a fielders choice by Brian Doran. The offense continued to fire on all cylinders in the top of the third. Cole Peragine, Jordan Mountford,Anthony Vacca,Simon Clarke and Brian Doran all reached base to make the score 8-0. Jefferson made it close in their half of the third, cashing five runs, but Simon Clarke put the game away in the fifth with his two run homer. Simon would have 4 RBIs on the day. Matt Betts closed out the game with three solid innings of work. He allowed just two hits in a 7-0 Terriers win. Left fielder Anthony Vacca lead the way offensively with a bases loaded, 3 RBI triple off the right field wall. He would also single in this game. Brian Doran had three hits of his own including a triple and two singles. Once again Matt Betts faced the final six hitters to seal the shut out victory.
