Jordan Mountford Awarded Scholarship To Bryant University
The Terriers left handed power hitting Jordan Mountford has accepted a scholarship to attend Bryant University (NCAA D1) next fall. Head Coach Steve Owens was looking for some pop from the left side, and is "excited about Jordan becoming part of the Bulldogs program". Jordan was a product of Guelph Minor Baseball before joining the Terriers in 2009. He started his career out as a catcher, but has since converted to OF/1B.

He has hit more home runs than any other Terrier over the past year, and has been a key RBI man in the heart of the Terriers lineup. Jordan also works very hard away from the field, as he is in excellent physical condition, which also really impressed Coach Owens. Bryant University was founded in 1863 and sits on 428 acres in Smithfield, RI. The Bulldogs have won six conference titles and have appeared in six NCAA regional tournaments. Jordan's academic field at Bryant University will be Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Good luck, and continued success Jordan!
