Gritty Rhp Eric Hall Lands D1 Scholarship
Eric Hall is armed with a mid 80s fastball and above average secondary pitches for a SR in high school. He has a relentless work ethic and gritty mound presence. It is those qualities that Chicago State Cougars ( NCAA D1) recruiting coordinator Neal Frendling was looking for when he offered Eric a scholarship this past weekend. Eric joined the Terriers in August and did an outstanding job on the mound during their grueling fall schedule.

His best outing came in late October against Meridian CC, a Mississippi Junior College powerhouse. He allowed just two hits in four innings of work. Further, Hall had very good outings versus Laurier University, LaFleche College and at Binghamton University. Eric's athleticism and extra work at The Baseball Zone also allowed him to help out the team defensively at 2b, 3b and in the outfield. Eric is the second Terrier to commit to the Cougars this year. He'll join infielder Mattingly Romanin on campus next August. Health and Sciences will be Eric's major at Chicago State University. He hopes to become a physio therapist. Best of luck and congratulations to Eric and his family.
