Terriers Update At The Canada Cup
The Ontario Terriers have a huge presence at this year’s Canada Cup, being held in Moncton, NB and have help lead Ontario to a 4-1 record through their first five games. After winning their opener against Quebec, Cal Quantrill got the start in game two against BC.

Quantrill pitched five innings allowing one run on four hits and two walks, while striking out five BC batters in the no decision. In game three, Michael Clouthier got the win against Alberta as he went four innings on the mound allowing only two hits and three walks while striking out four. After beating BC in a re-match in game four, lefty Travis Seabrooke and Nick Dimpfel paced Ontario to a 3-2 win over Alberta, vaulting them into first place in their pool. Seabrooke went the distance for Ontario as he gave up two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six Alberta batters. Dimpfel, meanwhile provided the offense with a two-out double to bring the go ahead run home in the sixth inning which proved to be the difference. Ontario continues their quest for Gold this afternoon with a game against Quebec 3:00 pm AST.
