The 18U Terriers scored early and often versus Alfred State Saturday in Rochester NY on the Monroe CC campus. Toby Handley lead the game off with a single, stole second base then advanced to third on consecutive walks by Geoffrey Seto (pictured) and Aaron Loder. Toby scored the Terriers' first run on a TJ Baker fielder's choice RBI. Geoffrey and Aaron would later score on RBIs by Zack Sardellitti and catcher Nick Dimpfel. The Terriers scored three more runs in the top of the second.

Toby Handley, Aaron Loder and TJ Baker all had hits and scored to make the score 6-0. Right hander Travis Laitar cruised through this game, allowing just one hit. He struck out five Pioneers and did not walk a batter. The Terriers tacked on four more runs in the top of the fifth. Robert Grilli, Toby Handley, Aaron Loder and Robert Grilli all crossed en route to the 10-0 victory. Game two goes at 4pm versus Monroe CC.
