Aaron Loder's Two Run Blast Paces Terriers Gold
Cal Quantrill threw six shut out innings, did not allow a hit and struck out eight in a 6-2 Terriers victory over the LG Outlaws (NY) Friday night. Jon Palumbo opened the bottom of the second with a double and scored on an RBI single up the middle by Bruce Yari to make the score 1-0. In the bottom of the third, Robert Grilli was hit by a pitch, and then advanced on a Jake Osborne single. After G

eoff Seto walked to load the bases, Aaron Loder was next in and he would deliver a two RBI single to score Robert and Jake. Aaron was not done however, as in the bottom of the fifth with Grilli at first, Loder smashed a two run homer to right to make the score 5-0. After Zach Choy tacked a sixth run in the sixth, the Outlaws scored two in the top of the seventh, however the rally stalled when lefty Jeff Baggaley induced two fly ball outs. CANAM tournament play continues Saturday with both Terriers teams in action.
