Joel Brophy's Grand Slam Paces Terriers
The 17u Terriers won their third consecutive game at the Canada Day Classic in Toronto with a 10-7 victory over the Windsor Selects Friday afternoon. The big blow came off the bat of catcher Joel Brophy, a massive grand slam to left. Joel begins the summer tournament schedule where he left off in the spring, swinging a hot bat and playing solid defense behind the plate. Callum Murphy was 3-3 in the victory over Windsor.

Adrian Stellato also had a triple. Will Prowse picked up the win on the mound, and Logan Stewart the save. After dropping their first two games to the 18u Mets and the 18u Terriers the 17s reeled off wins over Team Ontario 18s and the Ottawa Canadians before today's win over Windsor. The tournament continues through Sunday at Bond Park in North York.
