Terriers Fall To Long Island Titans
Submitted By Dan Thompson on Sunday, August 12, 2012
An outstanding pitching performance by Trevor Brigden was wasted in game three of the Blue Chip Prospects East Coast Championships. All the Terriers could muster were three hits in a 2-0 loss to the undefeated Long Island Titans.
Brigden mowed down the Titans through three innings of work, while striking out seven. He allowed just one hit.
The Titans broke through with one run in the fifth and another in the sixth, in this well played, hard fought contest.
Paul Gibson, Stephen Clewer and Garrett Jewel had the Terrier hits.
The Terriers next game is at 10:30 am on Tuesday.
