The SR Terriers Gold squad also picked up a win Sunday at Oakland University. A six run outburst in the fourth inning paved the way to a 9-5 victory over the Michigan Longhorns. Brendan Fox got the start, went three innings, scattered five hits and did not allow a run. He eventually gave way to Andrew Lonsdale and Kevin Lucas, who closed out the game. Leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Mike Moffatt and Kyle MacDonald hit back to back doubles for a two run Terriers lead.

First baseman Garrett Jewel followed with a sharp single, scoring MacDonald. Garrett had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored in this game. The Terriers put the contest on ice in fourth by scoring six more runs. Kristian Trunzer, Michael Enns Ward, Matthew Plut and Evan Hanoun all had hits as part of the six run rally. The SRs fall schedule continues next weekend with games at Niagara University.
