Logan Stewart's Grand Slam Launches Terriers To Victory

After games with Macomb College Friday and Oakland University Saturday, the SR Terriers Blue wrapped up their weekend with an 8-5 win over the Michigan Longhorns.
The offense was lead by Logan Stewart who hit a grand slam in the third inning.
With the Terriers leading 2-1 in the top of the third, TJ Baker and Nick Dimpfel lead the inning off with back to back singles. Liam Wilson followed and was hit by a pitch to load the bases and set the stage for Logan's homer that easily cleared the wall in right field. Logan also had a double and two runs scored.
Lefty Zach Sloan, Matt Beaton, Lee Condon and Jeff Baggaley shared the pitching duties in the victory.
The SRs fall schedule continues next weekend with games at Binghamton University.
