17U Terriers Defeat Elev8 Baseball Academy
In their final game in Florida, the Terriers 17u squad defeated Elev8 Baseball Academy of Delray by a score of 11-4. Already leading 1-0 in the second inning, the Junior Terriers explode for five runs on five hits. One run was added in the third, three in the fifth and one more in the sixth inning. The offensive explosion was led by Matt Vollmer who collected three hits, while Ashton Roy and Reagan Manley both had two hits apiece.
Rob Cant, Elliott Curtis and Joe Tevlin chipped in with hits leading to the victory.
Starter Christian Lazar threw three strong innings to garner the win. Owen Wessling, Konar Smith and Kyle Scobel threw the final four winnings to preserve the win.
