Yogendran, Santos Shine In 17S 1-0 Victory
Devon Yogendran and Sebastian Santos fired a combined seven innings of shut out ball as the 17U Terriers edged the Ontario Outlaws 1-0 Saturday morning at Kings College. Devon scattered four hits in his five innings of work and got credit for the win.

He struck out four and walked just two. Sebastian picked up the six out save, fanning four Outlaw hitters with his electric fast ball. With no score in the bottom of the third, speedy Brenden McQuinn reached on an error and advanced to second on a pass ball. Jamal Armstrong moved him to third on a single that eluded the Outlaws center-fielder, then Brenden crossed for the game's only run on Christian Forgione's RBI single. Dylan Johnson, Max Von Gemmingen and Uday Bal also had hits in this 1-0 Terriers win. Game two was a little more wide open with the Terriers banging out a 7-4 victory. Sam Worthen picked up the win, going 5.1 innings. That paved the way for Andrew Giorno to get the final five outs and a 17U Terriers sweep on the day. In 16U PBLO action the Terriers swept the Outlaws in Listowel Ontario. Game one was a 7-2 win, while game two went to extra innings with the Terriers prevailing 5-3. ‎That evens the 16u Terriers record at 5-5.
