15U, 16U, 17U Advance To Semi At Firecracker
The 17U Terriers romped in game one on Sunday with a 12-1 win over the Michigan Orioles, then squeaked out a 4-2 decision in game two over the Bulls to advance to the semi- finals at the Firecracker Classic in Ann Arbor Michigan. In the 4-2 win Devon Yogendran started on the mound and battled through three innings before handing the ball off to Sam Worthen who hurled the final four, allowing just two hits. Udhay Bal cashed two RBIs, while Matthew Kemp had one.

Jamal Armstrong, Sawan Bhatnagar, Cristian Forgione, and Max Von Gemmingen also all had hits in the contest. Here is what the offense looked like in game one: Jamal Armstrong - RBI Double, 2 RS. The 16U Terriers will play at 11:15am on Monday in the semi final after 8-6 and 12-1 victories. The 15U Terriers pitched and played great defense to get to their semi final. They are a perfect 4-0 on the tournament with 7-1 and 1-0 victories on Sunday. ‎They will play at 9am Monday morning game at Allen HS.
