Daniel Freeman Commits to Cornerstone University
Long time Terriers outfielder Daniel Freeman will continue his education and baseball career in Grand Rapids Michigan at Cornerstone University. He was awarded significant academic and athletic scholarships this past week. Congratulations to the Freeman family on Daniel's recent commitment to the NAIA Golden Eagles baseball program.

Daniel has been a loyal Terrier since he was 15 years old. He is a very reliable outfielder possessing a strong, accurate arm. He has always hit in the heart of the Terriers order where he can be counted on for clutch hits and RBIs in key situations.

Cornerstone University is a liberal arts independent institution that was founded in 1941. In the late 1990s and early 2000s Cornerstone expanded and transformed, changed its name, increased enrollment and added facilities to improve the campus. The university now offers 60 academic programs in the arts, sciences, humanities, Bible, teacher education, computers, business and journalism.

‎The Golden Eagles are members of the Wolverine- Hoosier Athletic Conference. They open their spring schedule in Georgia, then Florida before returning north for the balance of the season‎, competing in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. The Golden Eagles were 11-10 in conference play last year.

Daniel played four years of varsity baseball at his high school and will wrap up his Terriers career this summer before landing on campus in August where he will be studying Marketing and International Business.

Continued success to Daniel.
