RHP Owen MacNeil Lands Scholarship at U of Charleston
Congratulations to the MacNeil family on their son Owen's recent commitment to the University of Charleston in West Virginia.

Owen has a smooth delivery and easy arm action. He is armed with a fast ball that tops at 88mph and also throws a nasty slider. His change-up is advanced for a high schooler. He has consistently been near or at the top of the Terriers rotation for the past three seasons. With his projectable frame‎, Owen will continue to dominate hitters and has an excellent college career ahead of him.

The University ‎of Charleston was founded in 1888 and is home to 2,111 students. The Golden Eagles have nine athletic programs and compete in the NCAA D II Mountain East Conference. The Golden Eagles baseball program was 34-21 last season and came away with the MEC league championship. Their schedule takes them through West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina.

Over the past year Owen has competed at the Oklahoma JR Sunbelt tournament and T12 at Rogers Center where he recorded the save in the  championship game.

Another highlight from this past summer came at the Canada Cup National Championship in New Brunswick. Owen pitched for the gold medal winners Team Ontario.

Owen will be studying Sports Business at the University of Charleston.

Continued success Owen.
