Joel Stubbs And Jeff Hunt Selected To Baseball Canada 2007 Mizuno Camp
Fifty of the top players from across Canada born in 1991 have been invited to participate in the Baseball Canada Mizuno Camp at Rogers Center next week.

Joel Stubbs and Jeff Hunt will represent the Terriers. Jeff had an excellent fall 2006 and was very impressive at the MLB Bureau Camp in Febuary. Joel got his 2007 season off to a fine start on the Terriers March Break trip,making several outstanding defensive plays coupled with a .369 batting average. The boys will attend life skill seminars and participate in instructional baseball camps headed up by the Toronto Blue Jays third base coach, Brian Butterfield. Other camp instructors include Greg Hamilton, Head Coach and Director of National Teams for Baseball Canada,ex Major Leaguer Denis Boucher and Toronto Blue Jays first base coach Marty Peavy. They will also receive new spikes, bats, pants and Baseball Canada articles of clothing. Joel and Jeff will also attend two Big League games as guest of the Toronto Blue Jays when they host the Detroit Tigers. The highlight of the camp will come on the last day when the boys will play in the East-West showdown game at Rogers Center. Congratulations Joel and Jeff!
