Red Hot Terriers Win 11Th Straight
The Terriers rounded out the first half of the PBLO season with a weekend sweep of the Niagara Rebels followed by a thrashing of the London Badgers Wednesday night 12-2. The young Terriers have really hit their stride, combining great pitching with stingy defense and a relentless offensive attack game in and game out. The team ERA has been less than 1.00. The team has the June 1st weekend off as the league breaks for the Ontario Cup tryout and games. Several Terriers will be competing for positions on the Ontario Youth team which will represent Ontario at the Canada Cup 17u National Championship in Quebec City this August. Next action is Wednesday June 6th versus the Thunderbirds followed by a big four game weekend series versus Team Ontario.
