Junior Terriers Tie 0-0 In Curtain Raiser At Basbeall Heaven In Long Island, Ny
The 16U Terriers began play Friday night in the Northeast Elite 16U Tournament at Baseball Heaven in Long Island, NY.

After a tough 12 hour bus ride the Terriers managed a hard fought 0-0 tie against the Long Island Titans. Pitching was the story of this game with Aaron Bain throwing five innings, allowing just two hits while striking out five. Jake Walton pitched the final two innings giving up one hit and striking out two. Offensively, the Terriers had chances in the fourth and fifth innings but were unable to captialize. Ron Breutigam, Brendan Hutchings and Simon Clarke paced the Terriers with one hit a piece. The Terriers are in action again tomorrow morning at Baseball Heaven at 10:45 am and then again at 7:45 pm.
