Lefty Riley Bohar Njcaa College Bound
Terriers finesse left handed pitcher, Riley Bohar has secured a scholarship with the NJCAA Kalamazoo Valley Cougars.

Riley visited the Michigan campus this past weekend where he threw a very impressive bullpen for Head Coach Bernie Vallier. Bohar joined the Terriers in the fall of 2008 and immediately earned a spot in the starting rotation. He had several quality outings locally and on road trips stateside, including in Arizona versus a tough Glendale area travel team. So far this winter, pitching coach Rick Birmingham has been extremely pleased with Riley's further pitching progress and feels he will be a tremendous asset to the Cougars pitching staff. Bohar's fastball sits in the 82-84 mph range. He also possesses above average command of his curve and change up. KVCC was established in 1966 and is home to 13,000 students. They offer certificate programs in more than 20 areas of study and associate degrees in 25 others. Nestled on 187 acres of rolling woodland, the campus features a comprehensive library, state of the art computer facilities, two gymnasiums, swimming pool, tennis courts, track, two auditoriums and the baseball field. The Cougars play throughout Michigan and Indiana in the MCCAA Conference. Congratulations to Riley and his family on all the hard work in securing this opportunity to continue his education and pitch at the college level.
