Terriers Split With Badgers; Take 3 Of 4 In Series
The 16U Terriers split their double header Tuesday night at Labatt Park in London.

The split gives the Terriers a 3-1 series win over the Badgers. In game one, the Terriers offence came alive early and often, giving them a decisive 9-3 win. London native Jake Zuk led the attack going 3 for 4 with two singles, a double and two RBI's. Adam Godo chipped in with two hits of his own while Brendan Hutchings smacked a double and scored a run. Brian Doran pitched five solid innings, striking out two and giving up three runs on four hits. Matt Faulkner closed out the final two innings in dramatic fashion, striking out four of the six batters he faced. In game two, the Terriers were unable to come up with timely hitting and dropped a 6-0 decision. Doran and Zuk continued to swing hot bats, going 2 for 3 and 1 for 3 respectively. Alex Halayko got the start on the mound and gave up 4 runs on 1 hit and was a victim of less than stellar Terrier defense. The Junior Terriers take on the Oakville Royals Saturday afternoon at Dickson Park before travelling to Burlington on Sunday morning to close out the four game series.
