Four Game Set Solves Nothing
The Terriers split their big four games series with the Ontario Blue Jays this past weekend, so they continue to cling to top spot in the PBLO. Tanner Nivins had a three run homer in game one, but it wasn't quite enough as the Blue Jays prevailed 7-6. In game two Nathan Loehle struck the big blow, a bases clearing double in the sixth to vault the Terriers to a 7-4 win. Tavis Bruce picked up the win on the mound. In a sloppy game three, the Blue Jays came away with an 8-3 victory.

Game four was the Terriers most dramatic win of the season. Trailing 5-3 with two out and two on in the bottom of the seventh, Jeff Hunt stepped in and laced a double into the right field corner to tie the game. Brent Mitchell followed with a shot down the third base line to score Jeff and give the Terriers a 6-5 victory. The Terriers season record now sits at 20 wins against 5 losses.
