Submitted By Dan Thompson on Sunday, June 21, 2009
After being rained out Saturday the SR Terriers swept their Sunday DH over Team Ontario at Riverside Park. Lefty Billy Ralston had the ball in game one. He battled through four and two thirds innings in a 5-1 Terriers victory. Mitch Clarke came on in the fifth to record the final seven outs. Tanner Nivins, Nathan Loehle, Chandler McLaren, and Joel Stubbs all had hits in the contest. Tavis Bruce and Jas Rakkar threw two innings each in game two.

Jas gave way to Austin Hubers in the fifth with the Terriers trailing 2-1. Austin retired six of the seven batters he faced, while the Terriers rallied for four runs. The big blow was a homer to right center field by Chandler McLaren. Shortstop Brandon Dailey also had a clutch two out triple for an RBI. Mitch Clarke came on in the seventh for the save. The 5-2 victory closes out the Terriers PBLO record at 23 and 5.
