Sr Terriers Advance To Championship Game
Left hander Riley Bohar threw a seven inning complete game in the semi final of the 2009 Toronto Elite Tournament, advancing the SR Terriers to the final which will be played Sunday at Bond Park. The Terriers opponent in this one was Les Ailes from Quebec. In the 6-3 victory the offense was led by Nathan Loehle and the red hot Tanner Nivins. They both had 3 hits and two stolen bases. Graeme Carey had a home run to right field.

The balance of the attack came from Kevin Nickel, Chandler McLaren, Graeme Scott and Joel Stubbs. In the Championship final, The Terriers faced the undeafeated 19u Quebec Canada Summer Games team. Quebec lead 6-4 in the sixth and went on to win the tournament with an 8-4 victory.
