Submitted By Dan Thompson on Friday, July 17, 2009
Nashville, TN - And then there were three! Thirty six teams came to Nashville to compete for an 18u World Series championship. The Terriers sit at five and one and will play in the semi final Sunday morning. Nathan Loehle, Kevin Nickel and Chandler McLaren continue to scorch the ball at the plate. They were in the thick of a twelve run assault on Warrior pitchers in game one Saturday, a 12-6 Terrier win.

Nathan had his second homer of the tourney to go along with a couple of doubles. In game two the Terriers defeated Hit after Hit Baseball Academy 7-1 to push them into the final three of this marathon tournament. Graeme Carey had a homer. Brandon Dailey was outstanding at shortstop again and also chipped in with a hit. Joel Stubbs (1B, 2B), Tanner Nivins (1B, RBI), Kevin Nickel (2B, RBI), Brent Mitchell (1B), Nathan Loehle (1B, RS), Chandler McLaren (2B, RS), Graeme Scott (RBI) provided all the offense.
