Sr Terriers Win Brawl In The Fall
After dropping game one Friday night the Terriers stormed back with a relentless offensive assault on the opposition to claim the 2009 Brawl in the Fall 18u Tournament Championship. Going back to game two on Saturday, the Terriers defeated the Royals 9-1.

Game three wrapped up with a 6-2 victory over the Toronto Mets. Lefty Billy Ralston would pick up the win with five strong innings of work. Reliable right hander, Matt Betts would seal the win in his two innings. On Sunday, the Terriers faced Team Ontario in the semi final. An early 3-0 Team Ontario lead quickly evaporated by the fourth inning as the Terriers would bang out 15 hits on their way to a 14-4 victory. Lucas Scocchia picked up his second win of the fall on the mound. After ousting Team Ontario, the T-Birds would be the championship game opponent. They had defeated Ottawa 1-0 in the other semi final. The torrid Terriers offense put this game away early, building a 9-1 lead after just three innings and would eventually roll to a 12-3 win. Aaron Bain went five innings, allowing just four hits. The tournament victory will be short lived, as the Terriers will be right back at it Wednesday night versus Laurier University, and then on to Watertown NY next weekend for a four game set with Jefferson College.
