Baseball America Honours Three Terrier Alumni
The College Baseball season kicks off this weekend with over forty Terrier alumni headed into action. Going into the 2010 campaign, Baseball America has named it's All Conference honors. Only eight Canadians were selected, including Terrier alumni Ian Choy, Shane Davis and Chad Marshall. Ian was a member of the 2006 Terriers World Series championship team. He is now a senior at Canisius College (MAAC Conference, NCAA D1).

In 2009 Ian hit .359 with 36 RBIs. His slugging percentage was .581 and he had a .478 on base percentage- staggering offensive numbers. Congratulations Ian! Lefty Shane Davis is a Junior for the Golden Griffins. Last season he lead the pitching staff with 9 wins. Shane had 55 strike outs in 13 starts. Good luck this year Shane! Chad Marshall was also a member of the 2006 Terriers World Series Championship team. He heads into his Junior year at Stony Brook University (America East Conference, NCAA D1) with the Seawolves ranked #1 in the pre season coaches poll. At shortstop last year Chad's fielding percentage was an amazing .992! That was tops in the America East Conference. Offensively Chad hit .354, with 24 RBIs and 42 runs scored. Chad's season opens in Wilmington NC. Go have another great year Chad! Best of luck to all the Terrier alumni for the 2010 college baseball season.
