Terrier Alumni Billy Martin Receives Honour
Right handed pitcher Billy Martin was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, NCAA D1 (MAAC) Rookie of the Week. Billy joined the the Terriers program as a 16 year old, but played all three years at the 18u level. He pitched out of the bullpen his first year, then earned a starting spot in the rotation his final two years. Over his three year career Billy's fast ball went from 78mph to 88mph.
He also possessed an excellent change up which resulted in numerous double plays by his infieldersMartin was a member of the 2006 Terriers team that were PBLO Champions and World Series ChampionsCongratulations Billy!
