Scrappy Terriers Tie 9-9
For the second time this week in Florida the Terriers came from behind in the bottom of the 7th and pulled out a 9-9 tie with St Thomas University JV. (Miami) Austin Huibers went three innings allowed five runs, 2 earned, then gave way to Lucas Scocchia in the fourth. Lucas held the fort into the sixth as the Terriers battled back from a 5-1 deficit. With the score 5-4 St Thomas in the fourth, a wind blown home run would make it 7-4.

In the Terriers half, Simon Clarke would answer with a two run homer of his own, to make the score 7-6. Two more St Thomas runners scored in the sixth for the 9-6 lead, but the Terriers answered with a run in the sixth and two more in the bottom of the seventh to make the score 9-9. The Terriers play nationally ranked powerhouse Miami Dade at 6:30pm Monday night.
