Terriers Sweep Dh From Jays
Cocoa Beach The 18u Terriers wrapped up the March break trip to Florida with a pair of victories over the Ontario Blue Jays 18s+17s. Playing in games 9 and 10 of the week, with plenty of at bats under their belts, they would bash out 25 hits on the day en route to the double header sweep. Billy Ralston had the ball in game 1 vs the Jays 18s squad. He would give his team 4 innings and left the game with it tied 4-4.

All four runs were unearned as this game was marred by very poor defense from both sides. Righthander Connor Smith came on in the 5th. He went four innings allowing just one run, while striking out four. With the game tied 5-5 in the top of the 9th, the Terriers rallied for three runs on four hits. Christian Fearon got it going with a lead off walk and a steal of second. Cole Peragine followed with a walk and after a pass ball both would score on a Brandon Dailey shot up the middle. The rally continued on hits by Jordan Mountford, Simon Clarke and Graham Tebbit. Ted Hall came on to pitch the ninth and seal the 8-6 Terriers win.
