Kamloops, AB Best of the West Tournament Day three of the Best of the West Tournament had the Terriers matched up against the Parksville Royals (BC). The Terriers came away with a 6-5 victory and moved their record to 2 and 1 in pool play. They are 4 and 3 overall on their western trip versus University and BC Premier League teams. Lucas Scocchia went 6.1 innings to record the win in today's game.

Mike Morely came on to get the final two outs, leaving the tying run at first base. Shawn Marshall got the Terriers going in the top of the third with a lead off single and a steal of second. He scored the first run of the game on a Christian Fearon RBI double. Red hot Cole Peragine followed with an RBI single, scoring Fearon. The Royals replied with three runs in the bottom of the inning to move ahead 3-2. In the top of the fifth, Fearon worked a lead off walk, stole second, advanced to third on a fly ball to right by Peragine, and scored on an Anthony Vacca RBI single. Catcher Jordon Mountford would pick up a two out RBI with a line drive single off the pitchers leg to put the Terriers ahead 4-3. Graham Tebbit and Peragine tacked on insurance runs in the sixth and seventh innings, both had doubled. Parkville added two runs in the bottom of the seventh, but fell short at 6-5. The Terriers wrap up their eight game trip Sunday morning at Norbrock Stadium.
