Jr. Terriers Back In The Swing Of Things
After a tough start to the 2010 PBLO campaign, the Jr. Terriers were chomping at the bit to earn their first victory of the season. It was a perfect spring night at the historic Labatt Park in London, Ontario where Mark Wilush took to the mound. Wilush was very impressive pitching 4 solid innings, striking out 7 giving up only 3 hits and 0 walks. Mike Morley got the Jr. Dogs on the board in the top of the 3rd inning with a clutch two out RBI single.

Morley would single again in the 6th and execute a delayed steal to set the table for Landon McLaren's clutch two out RBI single. McLaren had 3 hits on the night. Brock Beirness in relief pitched 2 2/3 innings striking out 5, walking 3 and allowed only one hit. Barinder Rakkar put a quick halt to the Badgers bottom of the 7th rally attempt with a huge two out bases loaded strikeout to record the save in the Jr. Terriers 2-0 victory. Next up is a DH on May 15th at Dickson Park in Cambridge vs the Ontario Blue Jays starting at 12:00pm.
