Sr Terriers Take 3 Of 4 Over Royals

Terriers won 3 out of 4 on the weekend. Great Pitching performances combine for 3 shut out wins. Leading the staff was Matt Betts with his second NO hitter as a Terrier. Matt was outstanding, striking out 8 and keeping the hitters off balance all game. Lucas Scocchia had a complete game 3 hitter to close out the weekend. Austin Huibers and Billy Ralston - Combined for a 2 hitter on Saturday Night.

Austin struck out 5 in his 5 innings of work allowing 2 hits and walking 2 batters. Billy struck out 5 of the 6 hitters he faced in relief. Offensively, the team combined for over 20 hits throughout the weekend. Cole Peragine, Brian Doran, Christian Fearon had multiple hit games and Mattingly Romanin had a .750 on Base Average for the weekend. It was a complete team effort as all players chipped offensively. Brian Doran, Shawn Marshall and Mattingly Romanin had some outstanding defensive plays. The Terriers will battle with London next on Wednesday May 26th.
