Jr Terriers Bats Just As Hot As The Scorching Mid-West Temperatures
In Game 2 the Terriers beat the Illinois Indians 7-4 by pounding out 12 hits in temperatures that were approaching 100 degrees. The offense was led by Aaron Loder, Turner Spears, Mike Morley, and Brock Bierness all with 2 hits. Chipping in with a hit a piece were Bruce Yari, Jacob Zilli, Landon McLaren and Pat Coughlin. Barinder Rakkar went 5 innings to get the win and Mike Morley closed out the game. Next up are the Great Lakes Giants at 5:45 Friday.
