Srs Down Li Titans 8-0
Submitted By Dan Thompson on Friday, September 24, 2010
Long Island NY Steven Dressler and Matt Faulkner combined on a one hitter, and got plenty of offense in game one of the Blue Chip Prospects Tournament in Long Island NY on Saturday. Christian Fearon led off the bottom of the first with a single, swiped second base, moved to third on a Steve Jannetta grounder and then scored on a pass ball for an early 1-0 lead. The Terriers blew the game open in the bottom of the fifth with a seven run onslaught.

First baseman Adam Anderson started the rally with a HBP. Center fielder Eric Hall and DH Christian Fearon followed with bunt singles, loading the bases for Steve Jannetta who cashed an RBI single through the left side. Short stop Cole Peragine stepped in next and he also came up with an RBI single to make the score 3-0. The rally continued with a Jordon Mountford walk, a Mike Clouthier HBP, a Nathan Desouza walk and a Zach Sardellitti two RBI double to right center to make the score 8-0. The Terriers play Syracuse Sportzone in game two at Baseball Heaven Saturday night.
