16U Terriers Champs In Quebec
The 16U Terriers continued their winning ways this fall with a hard fought 3-2 championship win against the Yannick Girard Baseball School at the Lac St Louis Fall Baseball Classic in Quebec. Brock Beirness threw a complete game with an impressive 9K's giving up only 3 hits and 2 walks. On offense, Hee Do Kim lead off the bottom of the first inning with a single and stole second.

3 hole hitter Bruce Yari continued to swing a hot bat and towered a 2 run blast over the right center field wall to give the Jr Dogs a 2-0 lead. In the bottom of the 4th, catcher Tyler Hardie lead off with a double and eventually scored on a sac bunt by Nick Wideman that Girard threw away at first base. Jake Gerovac, Zach Choy and Wes Siekris had a single a piece. After three tournaments this fall, the Jr Terriers record now stands at 10-2.
