Terriers 17U's Go Undefeated On Weekend
After sweeping the Ottawa Canadians on Saturday the 17U squad continued with their winning ways with a win (16-4) and a tie (7-7) on Sunday.

In game 1 of the twin bill the 17's scored 7 runs on 8 hits including a cyclopean home run by Aaron Palmer and a 2-run round tripper by Jonathan Palumbo. Matthew Beaton contibuted with 3 hits including a bases-loaded double in the top of the second inning. TJ Baker threw 4 strong innings not allowing a hit, striking out five and surrendering only one bases on balls. In game two, the bats exploded for 18 hits. The 17s scored in every inning but the second. The offensive attack was lead by Toby Handley and Lee Condon with 3 hits and Travis Seabrooke, Bryce Shumilas, Nick Dimpfel and Aaron Loder with two hits a piece. Mike Morley, Geoff Seto and Averey Bet-Payumo also contibuted with hits. Travis Laiter was the winning pitcher throwing 4 strong innings giving up 1 run and 2 hits while recoding two strike outs. Cal Quantrill and Morley contributed with 5 innings of relief. The 17U squad are next in action against the Toronto Mets 16u team next weeekend for a 4 games series.
