Submitted By Dan Thompson on Saturday, October 30, 2010
The Terriers organization is pleased to announce that Tampa/St.Petes Beach will be their 2011 March break destination. All three Terriers teams will fly into Tampa Bay on March 10th for a week of games and practices in preparation for the 2011 PBLO and summer tournament schedule. Daily workouts and games versus US College and High School competition will be played at the R A Naimoli Complex whic

h is the original spring training home of the Tampa Bay Rays. The entire Terriers contingent of 58 players, 12 coaches, admin staff and several families will be staying at the fabulous Tradewinds Resort, right on St. Petes Beach. Each day, after baseball activities are complete everyone will surely enjoy their time in sunny Florida either pool side, at the beach or visiting one of the numerous restaurants and cafes that line the St.Petes Beach strip. The Terriers are currently heavily indulged in the programs' strength and conditioning phase of the year. These sessions are being monitored by SST coaches at their various locations. Once the calendar flips over, baseball activities will resume at the Baseball Zone in Mississauga leading up to Florida 2011!
