Terrier Alumni Tanner Nivins Repeats As America East Player Of The Week
Congratulations to sophomore outfielder Tanner Nivins of the Stony Brook University Seawolves who has been named America East Conference player of the week. It is the second straight week Tanner has earned the honor.
Nivins hit .500 (7-14) last week. He also had 4 RBIs. He is 10th in the America East in hitting (.317) and has 12 doubles and 26 RBI. He also ranks sixth in the conference with a .483 slugging percentage.
Stony Brook is presently in first place, with an overall record of 28-10.
