Junior Terriers Split Double Header On Saturday
The Terriers 17u team notched their first win of the season defeating the Oakville Royals 18u in the twilight game of a twin bill by the score of 7-3 on Saturday at Richmond Green Park . The Terriers score a run in the first inning on four consecutive walks to Tobey Handley, Aaron Loder, TJ Baker and Jonathan Palumbo. They added another run in the second on a single by Aaron Palmer and a double Nick Dimpfel.

In the fourth inning Tobey Handley once again led off with a base on balls followed by a double by Aaron Loder that one-hopped the fence in right field. Handley scored on a wild pitch, and then Loder was driven in on a single by TJ Baker. Baker later scored on two wild pitches and a passed ball. Two innings later Geoffrey Seto lead off with a walk, advanced to second on a balk and scored on a double by Tobey Handley. Handley later scored on two wild pitches. Lee Condon started the game and was credited with the win after pitching three innings. Cal Quantrill threw three strong innings in relief and Matthew Beaton closed out the seventh ensuring the win for the junior squad.
