Rome, NY - The undeafeated SR Terriers advanced to the championship game of the Sportzone Invitational Tournament today with a wild 18-13 semi final win over the Syracuse A's. They will now play for the title in this massive tournament, looking for the organization's record fifth championship of the summer!
The Terriers trailed 10-4 early in the semi final game, however the thunderous bats of Zac
k Sardellitti (2B,2B,6 RBI) Cole Peragine (1B,1B,2B,4RS,2RBI), Brian Doran (1B,2B,3B,2RBI) and Nathan DeSouza (2B,2RBI) provided more than enough offense to eventually secure the victory.
Righthander Eric Hall picked up the win with five innings of excellent relief work.
The Sportzone Championship final goes Saturday night.
