Srs Split In Motown
After dropping a 3-1 decision to Henry Ford CC on Saturday afternoon, the Terriers bounced back with a 7-4 come from behind victory over the Detroit Eagles. Trailing 3-1 in the fifth, the Terriers tied it up at three, only to give up a run in the bottom half of the inning to fall behind 4-3. They would mount a four run rally in the sixth however, and go on to a 7-4 win. Catcher Nick Dimpfel lead the top of the sixth off with a walk.

That was followed by back to back singles by Jon Palumbo and CJ Fearon. With one out, TJ Baker rocketed an RBI single to left to tie the game. Shortstop Robert Grilli then picked up an RBI on a fielders choice, scoring Palumbo. Fearon would also score on the play, after a throwing error by the Eagles catcher . Baker tacked on the Terriers seventh run on an RBI sac fly by Zach Choy. Cal Quantrill mowed down the Eagles hitters in order in the sixth and seventh, striking out five. The Terriers roll out of Motor City Saturday night and will play in Auburn Hills on Sunday at Oakland University.
