Travis Seabrooke Acquires Scholarship To Boston College
Travis Seabrooke has had an incredible year, and has capped it off this week by committing to Boston College. Boston College was at the top of the list for the big left hander. Nestled in Boston's south end, historic Boston College was founded in 1863 and is home to 14,625 students. Academically it is consistently ranked as one of the top institutions in the United States. Travis joined the Terriers after his bantam year with Whitby Minor Baseball.

He has made tremendous strides under Terriers Program Pitching Coordinator, Paul Quantriill and has had a lot of success this past season. Travis was a member of the 17u Terriers that won two summer tournaments including the SANDLOTT Baseball World Series Championship in Nashville. He was also part of Ontario's Gold Medal National Championship win at the Canada Cup in August. Travis has since been invited to join Canada's Junior National Team beginning in March 2012. That is quite a year for Travis and his family. Congratulations! Boston College play in the highly competitive NCAA D1 ACC(Atlantic Coast Conference). Seabrooke will be locking horns with the likes of college baseball powerhouses such as the Miami Hurricanes, Clemson Tigers, Florida State Seminoles, NC Tarheels, and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The entire Terriers organization is very proud of Travis and look forward to his continued development.
