Friend Of Terriers Going To Hall Of Fame In Cooperstown
The Terriers would like to extend their sincere congratulations to Toronto Sun scribe Bob Elliott who yesterday became the first Canadian baseball writer to be honoured by the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Bob will receive the J.G. Taylor Spink Award which is the highest award given by the Baseball Writers Association of America to its members. It was founded in 1962 and is given for meritorious service in baseball coverage in print. Bob has supported the Terriers since the inception of the program in 2005, promoting the team and its players in the Toronto Sun and on his website (www.canadianbaseballnetwork.com). Bob is a true ambassador for Canadian baseball and we thank him for his all his work and wish him the best on induction day. For more details see December 7th Toronto Sun (page 3 and S12-S21)
