Brock Beirness Earns Scholarship To Ne Colorado
It has been a whirlwind fall for Terriers right handed pitcher Brock Beirness. Brock has been on several US colleges radar, but this week he has committed to Northeastern JC (NJCAA D1) in Sterling Colorado. The Plainsmen play an extensive fall and spring schedule that will take them to Las Vegas Nevada, Kansas, Arizona, and Nebraska. Brock has regularly been a top performer on the mound since joining the Terriers after completion of his bantam year.

He is always willing to take the ball, and has arguably logged more innings than any other pitcher in the program over the past three years. He is a bulldog, and has worked very hard to earn this scholarship to NE Colorado. Brock locates his 84-87 mph FB and routinely upsets the competition hitters timing by mixing in his other pitches for outs. The cozy Northeastern campus is about two hours from Denver and was established in 1941. It offers over 80 academic programs to its 2,200 students. The entire Terriers organization congratulates Brock and his family and wish him continued success on the road to his college career.
