16S Sweep Doubleheader
St. Petersburg, FL - The 16u Terriers made it three in a row on Saturday, sweeping a DH from the WI Baseball Academy (FL). In game one Luke Tevlin started and went three innings, allowing three hits. He was staked to a 6-3 lead after just one inning of play. The damage in the first inning came on RBI doubles by Brandon Paul and Garrett Jewel. The lead was 11-5 after the bottom of the second when Stephen Clewer, Jacob Kreiger, and Nav Cheema walked, loading the bases for Kurt DeKock and Andrew Lonsdale RBI singles. After tacking on five more runs in the fifth, the Terriers cruised to a 16-5 win. Game two was another blowout, 16-3.
