St. Petersburg, FL - The SR Terriers really hit their stride Thursday afternoon in St. Petersburg Florida, smashing fifteen hits en route to a 11-3 victory over Waubonsee JC (IL). Starting pitcher Travis Seabrooke (pictured) was staked to six runs in his three innings of work, striking out four and allowing just two hits. As he has done all week, center fielder Toby Handley started a six run rally in the bottom of the second inning.

After a lead off walk, Zack Sardellitti singled to advance Toby to third, then both would score on Jon Palumbo's double to the right center field gap. TJ Baker was next in, and with a single up the middle advanced Palumbo to third. Jon then scored on a Nick Dimpfel RBI single. After a Bruce Yari walk and a Robert Grilli HBP, Geoff Seto and Toby Handley kept the rally alive with back to back RBI singles. 6-1 Terriers after three complete. As this game moved through the fourth and fifth innings, Waubonsee scratched out two runs however the Terriers answered with three of their own in the bottom of the fifth. Yes, you guessed it, Toby Handley lead off with a single, went to second on a Sardellitti single, then scored on Jon Palumbo's second double of the day. Zack and Jon tacked on two more runs courtesy of catcher Pat Coughlin's single later in the inning. Pat also had a two RBI triple later in the game.
