Alum Brandon Dailey Moves Up Reds' Ladder
BRANDON DAILEY MOVING UP THE REDS LADDER Shortstop alumni Brandon Dailey continues to climb the professional baseball ladder with the Cincinnati Reds. After wrapping up spring training in Arizona, he will begin the 2012 campaign at Class A Dayton. Last year in the Arizona Rookie Ball League Brandon hit .298 with a .387 OBP in 43 games. He lead the team in walks (23), hits (51), stolen bases (18) and runs scored (27).

Dailey also had a home run and 27 RBI. Defensively Brandon had a slick .963 fielding percentage, including turning 23 double plays. Dayton Dragons games are consistently sold out and is the Midwest League's flagship organization. Brandon will be managed by former big leaguer Delino DeShields who lead the team to a franchise record 83 wins last year.
