Submitted By Dan Thompson on Saturday, April 14, 2012
Rochester, NY After dropping game one Sunday morning by a 4-0 score, the Terriers bounced back with a 2-1 win Sunday afternoon. Brock Beirness got the start and was excellent through his four innings of work. Brock allowed just one hit, struck out two and did not walk a batter. Speedy Aaron Loder scored the Terriers first run in the top of the fourth inning. Aaron lead the inning off with a single and then promptly stole second base.

He moved to third on a fly by to right by Jon Palumbo, then scored on a Zack Sardellitti RBI. The SRs scored what would eventually be the winning run in the top of the fifth. Zach Choy would cross after he singled to start the inning, advanced on a sac bunt by Turner Spears and then scored on a sharply hit RBI single by shortstop Robert Grilli. Mike Morley came on in relief of Beirness in the bottom of the fifth and closed out the final three innings. The Terriers split the four game weekend series with Alfred State and Monroe CC
