Jon Palumbo Signs Letter Of Intent
Congratulations to the Palumbo family on Jon's recent signing of the Letter of Intent to attend Davenport University on a baseball scholarship. Jon has worked very hard on and off the field over the past year and is very deserving of this accomplishment. He is an excellent team mate and has a great rapport with all the coaches in the Terriers program. Davenport University is located in Grand Rapids Michigan and has twelve men's teams participating in NAIA sports.

The Panthers baseball team currently has a 27-14 record of which 13 of those wins have come in conference play. Davenport was founded in 1866 and is currently home to 13,000 students. It is Michigan's second largest private university and Jon is the first ever Terrier to acquire a scholarship to the school. Palumbo plays first base and also pitches out of the bullpen for the SR Terriers. Further, he bats in the heart of the order and can always be counted on to come through with a big hit with runners in scoring position or with the game on the line. The entire organization is very proud of Jon and we wish him continued success
